Seven kings Free School £150,000

When Robert first arrived at this Primary school in Seven Kings, he was faced with a total building site, as the school was in the finishing stages of a rebuilding programme.

The architect’s plans allowed for all the Play areas to be covered in asphalt. The Head of this school had organised a series of designs from many leading Playground Design companies but none of them came close to the school’s criteria. All the designs were for impersonal modular structures with multi coloured wetpour surfaces throughout.

The Head and the Governors were adamant that they required Green Outdoor spaces for their children with Natural Play areas. Fortunately for this school, the Head lived in Bethnal Green, very close to a school where Robert and his team had recently completed one of their amazing Natural Play areas, complete with over 900 trees, shrubs and perennials.

Thus Robert was invited to provide a design for the Seven Kings school. Robert supplied a beautiful hand drawn design(free of charge) within 7 days of his visit. The school was delighted at his design and stated that he had encapsulated all their wishes and that his design contained far more ideas than they could ever have imagined. This project was completed in record time and the outside areas were totally transformed.

“Thank you so much Robert for having created this absolute Oasis in the middle of Seven Kings. Please do come with your team to our Opening Day, as so many people want to meet you and thank you.

Robert, I can honestly say that you really shine amongst all the Playground designers; you are head and shoulders above them all.”
